Community and Connection:

Faith is in every matter of life. The big events, and the small ones.

Marie was depressed, hopeless and anxious. She lacked energy, was very sad. She had no connection with her three grown children and her grand children. She no longer went to church, “I am mad with God” she said. She did not engage with her neighbors or the community, “I only go to get grocery” she said.

Marie was in very poor health, with heart, diabetes and high blood pressure ailments to name a few.  She stated that she has no reason to live and would rather die as she could not find an ounce of hope.
