George was tethering on the brink of despair, hopelessness and depression. He was packing to walk away from his marriage of 18-years and his two teenage children. His wife and children were in free fall, suffering and not knowing what to do or where to turn. During the first encounter I normalized what was happening to George as part of the after effect of the Covid-19 pandemic that so many were experiencing. The rise in uncertainty, confusion, anxiety and depression were demanding change. I identified the need to begin making changes in his thoughts, belief, outlook and attitude and take immediate action to restart his life. George and his wife fully grasp the conditions that needed immediate change. They agreed to begin making the changes. Mrs. G. would obtain part-time employment to supplement the family income right away. George agreed to address his depression and anxiety as he changed his beliefs and attitudes. He became more optimistic which empowered him to sought out better earning opportunities. He tapped into a long held skill to begin a part-time entrepreneurial business. As the business grew they decided his wife and children would join the business. As they made changes in their outlook and improved their despondency, their business grew, their attitude changed and the family life and conditions improved. They were able to re-establish stability and harmony as they improved their life. The growth and development of self improved their self esteem and along with that came more healthy self care that included health and mental health components. As they changed their outlook, their attitude changed as did the conditions of their life. Their life transformed giving them the peace, happiness, stability and improvement they desired.
